Crews recover body from Potomac River in Northwest DC, MPD investigating

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- DC Fire and EMS said it recovered a body from the Potomac River in Northwest D.C. on Sunday morning.
First responders said they were sent to a water rescue assignment on 30th and K St NW.
When crews arrived at the scene, they were told of a person in the Potomac river who appeared to be dead.
Man dies after being stabbed in Northeast DC
A fireboat at the scene confirmed the person was dead.
The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) is taking over the investigation.
