CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A prayer vigil was held in Chesterfield County on Saturday to honor the life of a 25-year-old woman who died after she was shot multiple times at her home. At 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16, a prayer vigil was held at an apartment complex located on Nottinghill Drive in Chesterfield County to remember the life of 25-year-old Dominique Fields who died after she was shot multiple times at her home. According to police, just before 6 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 7, officers with the Chesterfield County Police Department were called to a home in the 5800 block of Nottinghill Drive for a reported shooting. When officers arrived on scene, they found Fields with multiple gunshot wounds. She was taken to a local hospital for treatment, where she later died. Police said investigators later obtained warrants for Fields' boyfriend, 31-year-old Quadry Campbell, in connection to her death and he was arrested on Friday, Nov. 8. He was charged with second-degree murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. "I was told that she loved her kids and she loved family, and would do anything for any one of you all," Willis said at the vigil.
