Clinton County Sheriff's Office responds to fatal crash

CLINTON COUNTY, Ind. — The Clinton County Sheriff's Office responded to a two-vehicle crash Saturday morning that left a driver dead.
In a Facebook post, the CCSO wrote that deputies were called around 11:42 a.m. to State Road 28 at County Road 1300 E.
After investigating the scene, they found that a grey 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander was traveling north on County Road 1300 E. The CCSO said the vehicle then disregarded a stop sign at State Road 28 and struck another vehicle, a red 2014 Kia Soul that was heading west.
According to the CCSO, the driver of the Mitsubishi was ejected from their vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. The Kia's driver was transported to an area hospital. Their condition was not listed.
The investigation remains ongoing and toxicology reports are still pending, the CCSO said.
