2 Indiana high schools top BOA Grand National Championships

INDIANAPOLIS — Bands of America announced its winners of the Grand National Championships on Sunday, with two Indiana schools taking first and second place
According to a Facebook post from Bands of America, Avon High School was crowned the grand champion just after midnight. They earned a score of 97.300. Carmel High School followed closely behind, with a score of 96.350.
Just a few ranks down, in ninth place, was Castle High School, located in Newburgh. Per BOA, they scored a 90.475.

Broken Arrow HS of Okla. in third place (96.350)
Tarpon Springs HS of Fla. in fourth (96.000)
Cedar Park HS of Tex. in fifth (93.300)
William Mason HS of Ohio in sixth (92.500)
Bridgeland HS of Tex. in seventh (90.850)
American Fork HS of Utah in eighth (90.700)
Dobyns-Bennet HS of Tenn. in tenth (89.050)
Prosper HS of Tex. in eleventh (88.750)
Leander HS of Tex. in twelfth (88.350)
