INDIANAPOLIS — Bands of America announced its winners of the Grand National Championships on Sunday, with two Indiana schools taking first and second place According to a Facebook post from Bands of America, Avon High School was crowned the grand champion just after midnight. They earned a score of 97.300. Carmel High School followed closely behind, with a score of 96.350. Just a few ranks down, in ninth place, was Castle High School, located in Newburgh. Per BOA, they scored a 90.475.
