LINCOLNTON, N.C. – An arrest has been made in connection to the death of a missing teenager, whose body was found in Lincoln County.
Sydney Bisson’s body was found close to Highway 150 in Boger City early Sunday morning.
A man, 34-year-old Gregory Houser, is in custody in connection to Bisson’s death. Houser agreed to turn himself in after detectives called him on the phone.
He was arrested at a relative’s home on Clemson Lane in Lincoln County around 3 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
Warrants were issued for one felony count of concealing and failing to report a death. Houser also has pending charges from Catawba, Lincoln, Mecklenburg and Gaston counties.
Gaston County Court Services put Houser on pre-trial electronic monitoring, requiring him to wear an ankle monitor. Now, he’s also been accused of tampering with that device.
