SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - The Springfield Police Department is investigating after an officer was struck by a stolen vehicle Saturday morning. According to Springfield Police Department spokesperson Ryan Walsh, the stolen vehicle's driver struck the officer before crashing in the 700 block of Berkshire Avenue. So far, one juvenile has been arrested after the occupants of the stolen vehicle ran away from the crash. The officer's injuries are non-life threatening.
