Lifeguards were first called to Waikiki Beach around 1 p.m. to search for two paddle boarders near the Hilton Hawaiian Village.

Officials said the paddle boarders were pushed out to sea. They were unable to get back to shore on their own.
Jet ski operators located the two individuals and brought them and the boards back to shore safely.
Two hours later, a man and woman were kite foiling at Waimea Bay on Oahu's north shore when they were overpowered by high winds.
Ocean Safety found the pair about three miles offshore and rescued the woman. Officials said the man made it back to shore on his own.
No injuries were reported.
