BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) — The Missouri River Correctional Center is looking to make community space a little more beautiful. Maintenance work at the Dakota Zoo started back in October. The repairs included extending the height of the exterior fence, drilling and setting fence post, and stretching and securing mesh fence. Zoo staff say they were impressed by the residents' work ethic and are grateful for the center's help in making the zoo a little bit safer for guests.
