BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) — Burleigh County Highway Department crews will be removing hay bales from highway right of ways starting next week. November 1 was the deadline to have all hay bales removed from highway right of ways. The North Dakota Department of Transportation says these bales need to be cleared away to help with snow management and road safety. Starting Monday, Burleigh County Highway Department will be removing any remaining hay bales. So if you haven't removed yours just yet, make sure you do so by the start of next week.
