4th Annual Trees of Hope hosts Student Night at Gary Rome Hyundai

HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) - It's a winter wonderland at the Gary Rome Hyundai in Holyoke. The annual event leading up to the holiday season began earlier this month and runs through November 22nd. "It is the real spirit of Christmas to give back," shared Kim Koher. Friday evening at the 4th Annual Trees of Hope was student night, inviting families and children to step into the holiday spirit with many raffles to chose from. "We want to be here to help them you know bring awareness but also bring the money that they need so they can keep these families together," shared Gary Rome, President & CEO of Gary Rome Hyundai.Christmas trees decked out from head to toe throughout the dealership with some valued at $2,000 including tickets to sporting events like the Patriots and Red Sox. Proceeds support the mission of the Ronald McDonald House helping to provide family housing and resources while their sick child receives treatment. One long-time customer of Gary Rome Hyundai returned for a second year of giving, "So this is a way to support the kids," shared Kim Koher. Kim, hoping to be one of the lucky winners of the trees this holiday season. "I'm just starting to look at them, they are always gorgeous and it's hard to chose," shared Kim Koher. This year over $200,000 is expected to be raised to keep families together in Springfield.
