MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Days after one suspect was arrested for breaking into multiple businesses and stealing nearly $60,000 in merchandise, another was apprehended on Friday. Ralphael Boddie, 41, is facing multiple charges, including burglary of a building, convicted felon in possession of a handgun and theft of property for his alleged part in the burglaries. Ralphael Boddie. (SCSO) According to reports, on October 29, around 7 a.m., Memphis Police responded to a burglary at Stereo Sounds at 1331 Getwell Road. They say the suspects entered the business by ripping the security bars off the windows. The suspects then stole around $59,000 worth of radio equipment, car alarms, and audio equipment from the store. Man accused of stealing $59K in merch from stereo store On November 6, just before 8 a.m., officers responded to a burglary at 3268 Democrat Road at AOSOM. MPD says the suspects took several items from the business and fled the area in the same vehicle used in the burglary at Stereo Sounds. One of the suspects returned to AOSOM an hour later to steal additional items. After one of the suspects, Donte "DooDoo" Parker was arrested on November 13, officers were led to the 5000 block of Blue Diamond by a confidential source who said that Ralphael Boddie had Power Wheels and a portable A/C unit inside the residence that were stolen during the AOSOM robbery. The source also told officers that Boddie had several guns inside the Blue Diamond residence. Officers confirmed that Parker fit the description of the driver of the Nissan Armada (used as a getaway vehicle for the burglaries) and was the owner of the Nissan. Boddie fit the description of the passenger. Two arrested after autistic child found in parking lot, exposed to fentanyl On Friday, investigators conducted a search warrant at the Blue Diamond residence and found Boddie in the bedroom. He was detained shortly thereafter. During a search of the residence, investigators found six guns, a stolen portable A/C unit and a box of Yeti tumblers. Court records show that Boddie is a convicted felon. Boddie and Parker are still in police custody and are expected to appear before a judge on Monday.
