GEORGETOWN COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) -- A 12-year-old Georgetown Middle School student is facing charges after making threats through Snapchat to "shoot up the school" if Mike Tyson lost his heavyweight fight against Jake Paul, authorities said on Saturday. Sheriff Carter Weaver said the student told investigators she was joking, and no firearms were found during the search of a Powell Road home. Officials said the student will be charged with making school threats and is also subject to district disciplinary policy.
