Baton Rouge Police investigating shooting that left teen dead

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The Baton Rouge Police Department is investigating a shooting that left a 14-year-old dead.
On Wednesday, Nov. 13, officers responded to the 3300 block of Plank Road about a shooting. According to BRPD, upon their arrival, officers found Eric Taylor, 14, who was suffering from a gunshot wound. Taylor was in the area when a vehicle pulled up and opened fire.
Baton Rouge Police stated Taylor was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Around 11:05 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 15, Taylor died as a result from his injuries.
No motives or suspects have been identified in this case. This is an ongoing investigation.
