Volunteers for the eighth annual Gift of Warmth were out early Saturday morning, hanging a variety warm weather necessities. Through community donations of hats, gloves, scarves and socks, this year’s event collected 916 articles that were hung on the fence above Skinner’s Hill where people can come and take what they need. “All in all, it’s still going strong,” said Deb Hulet, who has helped spearhead this event since it’s first year in 2017. Hulet also said this event is popular and that items tend to go quickly. The post Photos: Gift of Warmth comes together in eighth annual distribution appeared first on Austin Daily Herald.
