PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) -- A Providence club has been ordered to shut down by the Board of Licenses after three people were reportedly stabbed early Saturday morning.
According to Col. Oscar Perez, around 1:45 a.m., officers were called to Club Lovera on Broad Street for a report of a stabbing.
When they arrived on scene, police found that a 27-year-old man stabbed in the neck, a 28-year-old man stabbed in his shoulder and a 33-year-old stabbed in the forearm.
The 33-year-old victim took off from the scene before police arrived, but later found out that he went to Rhode Island Hospital to be treated for his injuries.
Police cleared out the club so that officers and BCI could investigate the scene.
Perez said that none of the victims were cooperating with police at this time.
Dylan Conley from the Providence Board of Licenses said the club will be shut down for the next 72 hours while the investigation continues.
