FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) -- One woman is dead and two men are injured after a shooting in the Showgirl 1 parking lot early Saturday morning. FWPD responded to the 2900 block of Goshen Road on reports of a shooting just before 3:30 a.m. Dispatch confirmed to WANE 15 there are three victims and one is dead. Officers initially responded to a report of an individual being shot outside of Showgirl 1 and when they arrived found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound or wounds according to the press release. Citizens were providing aid to the woman but the woman succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by medics. Two other men were also found suffering from gunshot wounds. They were transported to a local hospital, where they are both in serious but non-life threatening condition. According to a press release from FWPD, they believe an initial altercation occurred which caused shots to be fired in the parking lot. Officers and detectives are currently searching the area for evidence and talking with witnesses. The incident remains under investigation. It's unclear whether there is a threat to the public at this time.
