We've been stuck in a dreary, wet pattern over these past few days, with sunshine hard to come by. The good news is that we won't be misty today, but we'll still see a lot a cloud cover today, and for Sunday. Temperatures have reached the 50s as we've entered the afternoon. You won't need the coat, but perhaps a light jacket or a flannel as temperatures stay in the 50s. Sunshine will elude us for most of the day, with overcast skies for most of the afternoon, with a few pockets of short-lived sunshine possible. Certainly don't need those sunglasses today! Winds won't be a big factor today, and with highs in the mid-50s, it's an overall nice mid-November day. High temperatures reach the mid-50s this afternoon. We climb up to around 60 degrees on Sunday, with overcast skies back in place. The increased cloud cover is associated with a weak cold front that will bring us a stray shower chance into our Sunday night. It will also be a breezy day, with some gusts up to around 20 mph at times. Compared to Saturday, though, I think Sunday is my pick for the weekend. Lots of clouds Saturday and Sunday, but overall, it is certainly not a shabby mid-November weekend. Monday looks to stay in the 60s under mostly cloudy skies, where more slight chances for rain showers await. Tuesday sees overcast skies with highs in the mid-60s. It will also be windy starting on this day, a sign of a big change to follow. No changes in severe drought for our area this week Wednesday brings a stark difference in our weather pattern, as a strong low pressure system stalls nearby. This will provide very wind conditions, more chances for rain showers, and if our position relative to the low pressure system plays out just right, we may be looking at the first snowflakes of the season.
