CHARLOTTE, N.C. – One person was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries following a house fire in west Charlotte on Friday night. It happened around 7 p.m. at a home on Willard Street near Bradford Drive.  Thirty firefighters responded and were able to control the blaze in approximately 13 minutes. Medic said it transported one person from the scene with life-threatening injuries. None of the firefighters were injured. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
