Five injured in rural Wyndmere crash

NORTH DAKOTA (KXNET) — Five individuals, including three juveniles, have been injured after a crash on the evening of Friday, November 15th.
According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, at approximately 6:06 p.m., a Ford Edge was traveling east on Highway 27 when it entered the intersection between Highways 27 and 18. Highway 18 has the right of way at the intersection, and Highway 27 is posted with a stop sign.

The incident caused a Ford F-250 traveling south on Highway 18 to strike it in a 't-bone' manner, and both vehicles entered the ditch southeast of the intersection. The F-250 was also pulling a small, enclosed trailer, which rolled along with the car.
The driver of the Edge — a 56-year-old woman from Wyndmere — and three juvenile passengers (a 7-year-old girl and two six-year-old boys) were injured in the crash, and transported via ambulance to Sanford Hospital in Fargo. The driver of the F-250 (a 56-year-old man from Horace) was also injured.
The crash, and charges against the driver of the Edge, are currently under investigation according to the NDHP.
