SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- Law enforcement in Spring Valley are asking the public to avoid a neighborhood after the San Diego County Sheriff's Office says a deputy-involved shooting happened Friday evening. The sheriff's department on X is asking the public to avoid the area near the 900 block of Leland Street in Spring Valley as there was a heavy police presence in the area as of 5:30 p.m. Friday.
