ESTANCIA, N.M. (KRQE) – An Estancia High School substitute teacher is in custody as she is facing charges for having a relationship with a student. Court documents alleged 30-year-old Michaela Ford was caught on school surveillance camera intimately hugging a student. When she was caught, she reportedly told the principal to not tell her husband. Ford is being held at the Torrance County Detention Center.
