3 arrested in Pawtucket drug bust

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WPRI) — Three men accused of dealing drugs were arrested in Pawtucket on Friday.
David Benevides, Evan Santos and Nigel Almeida, all 28 years old, were taken into custody after police carried out court-authorized search warrants as part their investigation. The searches took place on Calder Street and Benefit Street in Pawtucket, as well as at an apartment on North Main Street in Providence.

Police said detectives seized multiple guns, a high-capacity magazine, around $18,000 in cash, items associated with drug distribution, 600 grams of cocaine and 105 grams of fentanyl.
All three men are facing drug distribution charges, among others.
