NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — George Washington Carver High School in New Orleans will be hosting a Thanksgiving food drive on Saturday, Nov. 16. Making ’em laugh & making his own costume at the LA Ren Fest According to Collegiate Academics officials, students, staff and representatives from the Mansons will be handing out food boxes with turkeys from the school's location at 3059 Higgins Blvd. from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. All food recipients need to drive up in a car and receive a ticket for their food, with a max of two tickets per car. Food will be distributed on a first come first served basis for as long as supplies last.
