Mild and cloudfilled weekend ahead
Nov 15, 2024
After some gloomy November days, we're on the lookout for some sunshine this weekend. Unfortunately, the confidence in us catching some rays of sun is low for the next several days...
Look for overcast skies overnight to become mostly cloudy by daybreak Saturday. Temperatures will generally be in the mid-40s to get the day started.
Perhaps we see some breaks in the clouds by daybreak Saturday, with temperatures in the 40s.
For Saturday, we anticipate skies to be mostly cloudy, meaning there will be some elusive breaks in the clouds. The best chance for us to tap into some sunshine comes during the late afternoon and early evening hours. High temperatures Saturday will reach the mid-50s with light winds in place. Overall, not a bad day!
We're mostly cloudy on Saturday. Our best chance for some sun comes late in the afternoon into the early evening, with highs reaching the 50s.
We climb up to around 60 degrees on Sunday, with overcast skies back in place. The increased cloud cover is associated with a weak cold front that will bring us a stray shower chance into our Sunday night. It will also be a breezy day, with some gusts up to around 20 mph at times.
We're cloudy again on Sunday.High temperatures climb up to around 60 degrees.
On Monday, we'll be back in the upper 50s with the chance again for a few spotty showers later in the day associated with a warm front. The better rain chances will hold off until Monday night into Tuesday though as our next organized weather system moves in. We could see more beneficial rainfall from this system to help the drought, so stay tuned for updates!
No changes in severe drought for our area this week
After Tuesday though, we'll be cooling down and an area of low pressure will stall out around our area, dragging down cooler air, increasing the winds, and perhaps bringing us our first snowflakes of the season. It all depends on the precise track and timing of the low pressure system, so check back in for updates as we iron out the details. For now, anticipate highs in the 40s and unsettled weather to end next week...it will be quite the change!
