(COLORADO SPRINGS) — On Friday, Nov. 15, the Colorado Springs Fire Department celebrated 27 new graduates of its training program. Among the graduates, there are five military veterans, one from the Marines and four from the Army. 11 are Colorado natives and 5 are Colorado Springs natives. Two of the graduates are related to current or former CSFD employees. Graduates also came from Virginia, Texas, California, Alaska, Indiana, Utah. and even as far as Queensland, Australia to become a firefighter with CSFD.
