ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Sweden Walker Road will be closed after a garbage truck tore down some power lines. According to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office, the truck took the lines and a utility pole down in the 4400 block of Sweden Walker Road. Nobody was injured. The accident resulted in the northeastern part of the Town of Sweden to lose power. Northbound traffic will be closed from Rt. 31 onto Sweden Walker Road and Sweden Walker Road will be closed at Canal Road. Crews anticipate the closure will be in effect through rush hour. The roadways won't be open until further notice.
