ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Quick's Mane Event is hosting its 9th annual 24-hour haircut marathon this weekend. The event, put on with the purpose of raising money for those in need this holiday season, started at noon Friday and runs until noon Saturday. Barbers from all across the region will be joining in for 24 hours of nonstop haircuts. During the marathon, Quick's will match each donation dollar for dollar to amplify the impact they hope to make for the community. Quick's is inviting anyone, whether you are a professional barber, someone who wants a cut, or even anyone who just want to donate, to help support this great cause by stopping by the Dewey Avenue barbershop.
