ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The holiday spirit was in full swing Friday as the Webster Montessori School hosted a miniature Thanksgiving parade featuring local students. Inspired by the iconic parade in New York City, the event featured over 40 handmade miniature floats. "The majority of floats were made at home although there were some that were crafted inside classrooms," the schools director of advancement, Jennifer Thornquest, said. "Families had about a month notice to create whatever they wanted, could've been anything, any size, and I think we saw that today." The school does the parade every year and has been serving Rochester families since 1967.
