TOPEKA (KSNT) - Shawnee County entrepreneurs and business owners are being invited to explore a new business resource hub in downtown Topeka this week.
India Yarborough with the Greater Topeka Partnership (GTP) announced in a press release that GO Topeka, the K-State 105 Initiative and other partners cut the ribbon on a new downtown Business Concierge Office in Topeka. The office, located at 715 South Kansas Avenue, is meant to serve as a resource station for local business owners to support their startups and established businesses.
Entrepreneurs visiting the center can expect to find a host of resources, along with hands-on support, expert guidance and insights to help them navigate the intricacies of launching and scaling a business. Organizations like the Washburn University School of Business, Omni Circle Group and Washburn Small Business Development Center will be involved in the newly opened center.
Popular Topeka holiday event called off, here’s why
“GO Topeka is thrilled to be launching the Business Concierge Office in partnership with Kansas State University and its K-State 105 initiative,” said Stephanie Moran, SVP of Innovation for GO Topeka. “This effort reflects our commitment to fostering a vibrant, thriving entrepreneurial community in Topeka and Shawnee County. By creating this resource hub, we aim to empower local business owners and fuel economic growth in the area.”
Yarborough said the center will be staffed by interns from the Washburn School of Business. You can learn more about the Business Concierge Office by clicking here.
“This type of collaborative engagement with community partners is the mission of a next-generation land-grant university like Kansas State University put into action,” said Jessica Gnad, K-State 105 director. “The K-State 105 initiative is focused on economic growth for all 105 Kansas counties. We’re so excited to collaborate with GO Topeka and other community partners to support the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Shawnee County through the new Business Concierge Office.”
