Pawtucket Police arrest 3 men as part of narcotics investigation

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — The Pawtucket Police Department said it arrested three men as part of a narcotics investigation into distribution of cocaine and fentanyl.
28-year-old David Benevides was charged with manufacturing/possession/ delivery of fentanyl and cocaine, possession with intent to deliver fentanyl and cocaine, maintaining a common nuisance, conspiracy, and distribution and manufacturing in or near a school.
28-year-old Nigel Almeida was charged with manufacturing/possession/ delivery of fentanyl and cocaine, possession with intent to deliver fentanyl and cocaine, use of a firearm while committing a crime of violence, alteration of marks of identification on a firearm, possession of a large capacity feeding device, maintaining a common nuisance, and conspiracy.
28-year-old Evan Santos was charged with manufacturing/delivery of fentanyl and possession with intent to deliver.
Police executed search warrants on Calder Street and Benefit Street as well as on North Main Street in Providence and allegedly located a 10mm Glock Semi-automatic handgun with an obliterated serial number, a Mini UZI semi-automatic firearm, a high capacity magazine, approximately $18,000, approximately 600 grams of cocaine, approximately 105 grams of fentanyl, digital scales, cutting agents, and packaging material.
