FALL RIVER, Mass. (WPRI) — Police and fire crews responded Friday to a house fire off Eastern Avenue near the Pleasant Street intersection in Fall River. According to the district fire chief, the fire was contained to the third floor and attic, but the floors below sustained water damage. While no firefighters were injured, one man was taken to the hospital. The man was reportedly helped before crews arrived on scene. His condition is currently unknown.
