Woman's heat and AC working again after News 4 steps in

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — A metro woman is living comfortably again, thanks to a little help from News 4's In Your Corner Team.
Mary Ramsey has been living at Jasper Gardens Apartments for two years.
Everything was fine, until recently when her heat and AC stopped working, making living conditions undesirable.
"I have arthritis in my right leg, I have no knee and I get cold and I get hot, so therefore, I need some kind of system to work," said Ramsey.
Ramsey resorted to using her oven for warmth by setting it at 350 degrees.

She says she put in work orders and nothing was done until Thursday when a maintenance worker took a look at her HVAC system.
Ramsey was told a part needed to be ordered.
She also says she contacted the property owner based in Dallas and was told she could get a window unit and space heater from the leasing office.
"The maintenance said they can't do that, he don't have none. Okay? But if the owner said you got one, then go get one," said Ramsey.
News 4 stopped by the leasing office, but nobody was there, so we called and left a voicemail.
We also tried calling the property owner and did not get a response.
After hours of waiting, we finally heard some good news from Ramsey, maintenance stopped by and everything is now working.
"So far everything is good and he said well who called Channel 4 News? And I said I did because I'm tired of y'all not trying to do nothing, I'm not gonna lie to them, that's what I said... This is the first time in my life I feel good, I feel better. Thank you all, News Team 4," said Ramsey.
Ramsey is also on Section 8 housing. The Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency is looking into her case and plans to stop by Monday to make sure everything is in order.
