WREG went back to the area Friday and talked to workers at the Take 5 Oil Change, which is right in front of the crash scene.
They told us the man fired on was their co-worker, and that he and his girlfriend has just left Take 5 and pulled onto Germantown Parkway when the suspect fired on them.
Workers say Thursday was not the first confrontation here. They say the suspect came here on Monday to confront his ex's boyfriend, but he left.
They say one of the suspect's relatives later showed up and warned them the suspect had a gun.
