LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW)- Connor Taylor is a captain, scholar and legend with Henry Clay Boys Soccer. The junior attacking midfielder is a state champion after winning the title weeks ago with his Blue Devils team. 6-1 was the final score as Head Coach Jason Behler’s team beat Louisville Collegiate. “We scored the first goal and it was a landslide from there,” said Taylor recounting the Blue Devils win. “After the game a whole rush of emotions came down. I was happy because this is what we wanted to do with the guys.” In the classroom, Taylor is taking multiple advanced placement courses and is hoping to study at an Ivy League school where he can also play Division One soccer.
