Part of Calvary Cemetery in Indianapolis vandalized

INDIANAPOLIS — A police report confirms that part of Calvary Cemetery in Indianapolis has been vandalized.
The report, which was made around 7:30 a.m. Friday, indicates the cemetery had sustained $11,000-worth of damage. Calvary Cemetery officials reported that five glass niches in the cemetery's mausoleum were broken into.
A cemetery official confirmed nothing was taken from the smashed niches, but they were destroyed. Calvary personnel have contacted the families whose niches were damaged during the incident.
Police did not list any suspects in their report on the vandalism.
