It has been another gloomy November day across northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio. Some areas of drizzle have stuck around into our Friday, keeping things rather damp outside. Look for just the chance for a stray rain shower/areas of drizzle to continue this evening before we dry out overnight. Keep this in mind if you're attending any high school football playoff games. Temperatures will dip down into the mid-40s tonight under mostly cloudy skies. Clouds and spotty rain will be around for the high school football games. We're mainly cloudy around midnight.Perhaps we see some breaks in the clouds by daybreak Saturday, with temperatures in the 40s. For Saturday, we could finally see some sunshine! Confidence is low though in there being many breaks in the clouds, so make sure to take advantage of what we do experience. High temperatures Saturday will reach the mid-50s under mostly cloudy skies. We're mostly cloudy on Saturday. Our best chance for some sun comes late in the afternoon, with highs reaching the 50s. We climb up to around 60 degrees on Sunday, with overcast skies in place. The increased cloud cover is associated with a weak cold front that will bring us a stray shower chance into our Sunday night. It will also be a breezy day, with some gusts up to around 20 mph at times. We're cloudy again on Sunday.High temperatures climb up to around 60 degrees. On Monday, we'll be back in the upper 50s with the chance again for a few spotty showers later in the day associated with a warm front. The better rain chances will hold off until Monday night into Tuesday though as our next organized weather system moves in. We could see more beneficial rainfall from this system to help the drought, so stay tuned for updates! No changes in severe drought for our area this week After Tuesday though, we'll be cooling down and an area of low pressure will stall out around our area, dragging down cooler air, increasing the winds, and perhaps bringing us our first snowflakes of the season. It all depends on the precise track and timing of the low pressure system, so check back in for updates as we iron out the details. For now, anticipate highs in the 40s and unsettled weather to end next week...it will be quite the change!
