EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) -- Active weather returns to the Borderland with storm systems bringing winds and rain that will see us through the weekend into Monday.  Clouds will begin to roll in on Saturday afternoon. Along with a high near 75 degrees, we can expect 10-20 mph winds that can gust up to 30 mph. Shower chances are strongest in the night, closer to 11 p.m.   Chances for showers increase for much of Saturday. We’ll see a high near 61 degrees and a low around 40. Winds won’t be as strong, ranging from 5-10 mph in the afternoon before gaining strength at night where they can gust up to 30 mph.  Monday will be mostly sunny as the system exits our region, but not without one more windy day. Expect a high of around 61 degrees with 20-25 mph winds, and gusts up to 40 mph. Those winds will calm around the evening and leave us with a low of around 40 degrees.  Temperatures remain cool for the rest of the week with mostly sunny conditions. Our highs will remain in the lower 60s, and upper 50s up to Saturday before warming up to the mid-60s on Sunday. After Tuesday, we are near below-freezing temperatures overnight up until Saturday going into Sunday when we can see a low of around 37 degrees.  Have a great weekend El Paso.
