LEESBURG, Va. (DC News Now) -- The Leesburg Police Department (APD) said a person was hospitalized with critical injuries after they were hit by a truck Friday morning. Police said that just after 6:30 a.m. on Nov. 15, officers were notified of a crash involving a Ford pickup truck and a pedestrian at Catoctin Circle SE and S. King Street. ‘Magnet fishers’ pull bikes, scooters from Anacostia River in Navy Yard Once on the scene, first responders began providing aid to the pedestrian. Police said they were taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the truck stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators. The investigation is ongoing.
