MANTEO, N.C. (WAVY) - Another house in Rodanthe has collapsed into the ocean on the Outer Banks, temporarily closing off access to the beach.
New concerns rise about collapsing homes in Rodanthe
According to the National Park Service, during the overnight hours of Thursday and into Friday, an unoccupied house collapsed in the 23000 block of Surf Side Drive in Rodanthe, North Carolina. The beach in front of Rodanthe has been closed due to debris from the collapsed house.

Due to the ongoing severe weather conditions and closure of parts of NC 12, cleanup operations are limited.

In addition, the Cape Hatteras National Seashore is also monitoring the conditions of several threatened structures at G A Kohler Court and Sea Oats Drive.
