CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) - Multiple people were displaced after a house fire in the Greenbrier West section of Chesapeake Friday morning.
According to officials, crews were dispatched to the 600 block of Harbour North Drive just before 4:40 a.m. for reports of a fire on the second-floor of a home.
Crews arrived to the scene and found smoke and flames visible from an exterior front window.

The fire was considered under control just after 5 a.m., and no injuries were reported.
Four adults and one child were displaced, and the Red Cross has been contacted to assist.
The cause and origin of the fire remains under investigation.
