INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Department of Transportation announced a series of weekend lane and ramp restrictions coming to I-74 near Greythorne. According to INDOT, the restrictions will begin on Friday at 9 p.m. Here, I-74 westbound will be reduced to a single lane between Post Rd. and I-465 so crews can move the barrier wall. INDOT said this should be completed by Saturday at 9 a.m., weather permitting. In addition, on Saturday at 9 a.m., INDOT stated that the I-74 westbound to I-465 northbound and southbound ramps will be closed. These ramps are set to reopen on Saturday at noon, weather permitting. Next, the ramps at the following locations will reopen on Saturday at noon, weather permitting: I-74 westbound to I-465 Southeastern Ave. to I-465 northbound I-465 northbound to Shadeland Ave. Per INDOT, these restrictions will allow foundation pours for signage on I-74 to be safely completed.
