Ripon basketball coach charged with multiple felonies, including child enticement

FOND DU LAC, Wis. (WFRV) — The varsity boys’ basketball coach at Ripon High School, Mihai Schnell-Harrison, has been formally charged with multiple felonies, according to Wisconsin Circuit Court records.
Schnell-Harrison, 31, faces five felony charges, including:
Child enticement-sexual contact
Sexual assault of a student by school staff
Exposing genitals or intimate parts to a child
Possession of child pornography
Exposing a child to harmful material
Fond du Lac County Judge Anthony Nels set Schnell-Harrison’s cash bond at $150,000. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Nov. 22, 2024.

Authorities arrested Schnell-Harrison on Tuesday, Nov. 12.
