RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Richland County Sheriff’s Department is continuing to investigate the disappearance of a man who went missing 10 years ago. The sheriff’s department says the week of November 18, will mark the 10-year anniversary of the disappearance of Montey Thomas. Deputies say Montey Thomas, nicknamed “Duke” was last seen at Rickenbacher’s Party Shop on Bluff Road the night of November 20, 2014. Thomas was seen at the Party Shop by numerous friends; however, his family and friends have not heard anything from him since that night. Richland County Sheriff’s Department suspects foul play as he does not have a vehicle and never picked up his last paycheck.
