BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) - The East Baton Rouge Parish Coroner's Office was called to the scene of a crash on Friday, Nov. 15. The coroner's office confirmed that one person was killed in the crash which took place in the 12000 block of Scenic Highway. The Baton Rouge Police Department said the crash happened a little before 7 a.m. BRPD units were on the scene providing assistance until the Louisiana State Police arrived to handle the crash. BRPD confirmed that LSP is handling the investigation. The coroner's office said they "are withholding the decedent’s identity, cause and manner of death pending location and notification of next of kin."
