BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) -- Get an affordable self-care experience where you can customize your own scented bath, body and home products at the last Bath Junkie location in the state.
Bath Junkie, a once-established franchise found in several states, is now individually owned. The store is located on Corporate Boulevard in Baton Rouge.
“Bath Junkie's been around for 15-plus years in Baton Rouge. It's a little hidden gem if you don't know about us,” said owner Hannah Babin.
The store has more than a decade of experience and catering to many audiences.
“People are so amazed and taken back by this kind of place because they've never experienced anything like this,” said Babin. “People just love the concept of making something unique for them that they can't find anywhere else. And the high quality of the products where it doesn't break out or irritate the skin is a plus.”
Babin became a business owner at the age of 24. She loves her business and how it caters to women, men, pets and kids through her love for fragrances. Bath Junkie has over 40 different products for people to choose from with a variety of 200 different scents.
The steps to customizing a product are simple. You choose the base of the main product. Items range in body wash, scrubs, bubbling bath crystals, bath salts, lotions, body mists, perfumes, colognes, beard oil, dish soap, room spray, dog cologne and more.

Babin said the overall goal is to allow people to self-care with products that are not only high quality but also affordable. She said the cost of their smallest products starts at $12.
“You can customize any little gift set that you would like depending on your budget. We work really well with how much you want to spend,” she said.
