The intersection was shut down for two hours as crews worked to clean up the mess.Investigators said the crash occurred when a semi-truck and trailer traveling West on 52nd St failed to properly navigate a turn onto Green Bay Road. The semi crashed into four vehicles that were stopped at a red light for southbound Green Bay Road, according to police. The semi continued in a southwest direction as it crossed all lanes of 52nd Street before coming to rest on the Culver's property that is on the corner of the intersection. "All you see was like a trailer here inside, and like five cars over there like crashing. Crazy. People were like screaming and running around," Alonso said. He said the semi got very close to the restaurant. It was almost like way too close to the building. Like 10 incheslike 5. That was crazy," Alonso explained. Police said one driver has a significant injury and the other drivers have minor injuries.
