2 arrested after stolen car crash in Henrietta

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Two people were arrested in Henrietta Wednesday after investigators say they crashed a stolen car on Jefferson Road.
Monroe County Sheriff's deputies were called to Jefferson Road at Clay Road shortly before 1 p.m. for a rollover crash. They were told two people in the car were trying to leave the scene.
According to investigators, Ryan Burns, 38, was quickly caught by deputies. Casey Clohessy, 37, was caught with help from bystanders. Both were hospitalized with what deputies said were minor injuries.
The Toyota involved in the crash had been reported stolen out of Rochester.
Clohessy was arrested and charged with criminal possession of stolen property, aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle, DWI, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. She was arraigned on those charges in Henrietta, then taken to the Monroe County Jail for outstanding warrants from Monroe County Court and the Irondequoit Police Department.
Burns was charged with criminal possession of stolen property and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He was arraigned in Henrietta and released.
