Weather Forecast: Quiet weather set to linger into the weekend
Nov 14, 2024
ROCHESTER, NY (WROC) - A weakening area of low pressure has proved to be just enough for spotty light rain showers mainly west and south of Rochester. For the rest of us, it's just cloudy. We'll keep a limited chance for showers into the night, although most of you won't seen anything measureable. The abundant cloud cover will keep lows closer to 40 degrees.
Friday will also be dry, but the highlight will be the distinction between clouds west and sunshine east.
Our weekend will also be dry with partly cloudy skies Saturday supporting highs into the lower 50s. Clouds will return Sunday (along with southerly flow), supporting middle 50s temperatures. Shy of a random raindrop, the Bills game forecast looks great with no significant weather impacts.
We continue to see signs of a pattern change toward the end of next week. While relatively cooler and more unsettled weather is likely to return about a week from now, it remains unclear what impact this could have (if any) on lake effect snow potential. That will be a headline we'll be following into next week.
