ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Student artists busted out the crayons and colored pencils to give downtown Albuquerque a pop of color. Amy Biehl High School and Lew Wallace Elementary School students have been painting the paths between their schools and their designs can be seen on sidewalks, buildings, and trash cans.

"The students came up with their ideas out of their own beautiful imaginations, which was led by our wonderful art teacher Ms. Tanya Silva," said Principal Melanie Telles, Lew Wallace Elementary School.
