Houma man arrested following child porn investigation

HOUMA, La. (WGNO) — A Houma man was arrested on Wednesday following an investigation into the alleged possession of child sexual abuse material.
According to Louisiana State Police, the LSP Special Victims Unit started working with the Louisiana Attorney General's Office back in October to investigate 52-year-old Darren Bontempo.
Man arrested after months-long drug investigation in Houma
On Nov. 13, search and arrest warrants were carried out at Bontempo's home. He was arrested and booked into the Terrebonne Parish Criminal Justice Center on 33 counts of possession of child sexual abuse material under the age of 13.
The investigation remains ongoing.
